Our first visitors :)

My sister and her husband came to visit us for a quick overnight stay; although a short visit, it was a lot of fun - and boy did we have nice weather. As you'll see in the pictures below - Colette and Ralph were very fortunate to have the weather on their side :)

We really enjoyed having them over, and - as always, they manage to help put things into perspective... Colette's positive attitude and Ralph's easy-going style was appreciated by all of us. Setting the example for us all, we should all take a page out of their book, as they are truly Blessed :)

Jordyn really put it best: "...why can't they just live down the street?"

We love you guys; we hope you all enjoy the pics.

...a little more moved in :)

Wow - what a day. We managed to get our big 'ole 500lb TV up the stairs - for once though - it was not me hefting the stupid thing around. We hired a couple of young strapping young fellas that made the work look easy. Good thing too 'cause I injured myself a couple days ago - actually, I injured my left bicep about two weeks ago when I moved the TV for the sleep-over back under the house (moved it by myself, I might mention). And then a couple days ago I shoveled 5 yards of bark mulch, and 4 yards of heavy gravel around the yard (again, by myself). Man... I'm getting old!

So - most things moved - and I still had time to fish - AND catch a nice one... ya, we're fortunate alrighty, and we don't take a second for granted.

Just as I am writing this entry in to the blog - and no kidding, an eagle just landed in a tree in front of me. And lo and behlod - my sister got online and we got to chat while this all took place.
Then, while talking, the eagle went from the tree to picking off a trout - how cool.

Anyway - here are some pics of our day.
