Pixie!

There's a new pooch in town...

We were seriously missing the companionship of a dog, and Jordyn found Pixie on a pet shelter website. Pixie comes to us from Merced, California. She's a pretty sweet little pooch - very affectionate (lots of kisses) and constantly following one of us. She's settled in pretty fast with us; and has not whined or barked even once - and yes, fingers crossed that she does not start.

It was pretty clear to us that she had not even seen stairs until last night - nor had she spent much time on the grass. We had the tiniest bit of cedar tree blow-down in a little pile on the deck, and she's been using that as her pee place. I took her out around the yard this morning and she just tore it up - it was so cute.

What a great little companion - the nicest present I ever bought my wife for Valentines Day :)
